A New Project

I recently completed a little project. After a five year hiatus, I finally took up knitting again. This is a circular scarf with a cable pattern. The original pattern was smaller, and I doubled the size to allow myself to wrap it around a few times. I used a wool and mohair to add some softness.

Some day

Some day I'd love to live on a farm. Somewhere in Europe perhaps. Where I can frolic about in nature with cute little sheep. Some day it will happen. I'll start researching some property. Because no doubt I will cuddle with sheep on a pile of logs and feed them from a bottle! And my wardrobe will be farm friendly and simply fantastic! I am definitely looking forward to this.

Fabulous

Several weeks ago I came across these photos of an apartment for sale in Europe (I don't remember where). I love the simplicity of this home. The floors, the small details, the large ceilings and windows, the moldings.....all create the perfect backdrop. Black and white, very much like my wardrobe. Speaking of I am in awe of the dressing area. One day I will have a fabulous dressing area as this. Absolutely.

My two favorite details are the exposed white brick back splash in the kitchen and that incredible fireplace in the living area. Wow!

Just in time for this winter weather

I thought I'd break out my new glasses. I think they are rather appropriate for this weather. I need something to filter all of that sunshine. Who says winter is here?

Dear Santa,

I think I am going to begin a list of things I would like Santa to bring me this year. Please oh please tell me he really does exist, because I would love these fabulous pieces....
