Pit Stop in Chi-town

I am making a pit stop in Chicago before I leave for Arizona on Wednesday. I am going back to AZ to clear out the rest of my things from where I was living. I am planning on selling my furniture, possibly at a consignment store, but I don't want to get rid of my armoire. It is from India with hand carved turquoise doors. So sad:(.

Anywho, I was planning on going to Glencoe beach to work on my tan today since it was supposed to be sunny out. Well, it was overcast, but that didn't stop me from going there to just watch the waves and hang out for a little while.


There was this cute yellow lab that was riding the waves (check out the photo). He saw a black lab and ran over to greet him. He noticed me checking him out and came over with his tail wagging, ready to give me some lovin'. So cute. Here are some photos I took today near the beach with the colorful leaves.



Last time I was at the beach was in September and the water was so blue! I definitely enjoyed it this year.
