Red Lips

As most of you know I prefer to be natural. I tend to not wear makeup and on the rare occasion I do, it usually consists of mascara and lip gloss. Well, one day while I was sick I went with my mom to run some errands. We were shopping and since I was feeling, how do I put it....anything but cute I decided some lipstick would to the trick. Now, I do realize my lips are pretty plump already so I stick to my routine of lip moisturizer, but when I found this bright red lipstick I decided I would give it a go. Instantly my mood was lifted and I felt striking when I put it on; I figured why the heck not. This is not to say that lipstick or makeup make someone beautiful, but for me it was simply a nice change.
Considering the fact that I don't really where makeup and lipstick tends to enhance your lips--which for the record makes me somewhat uncomfortable because I really don't need to accentuate them any more. This created a bit of a challenge for me to emphasize them with a crimson hue. Heck, life is short and I'm going to play up what I have; work with what I've got.

Now, um I need a little added confidence to go out with red lips, or perhaps going in public with the red lips will boost my confidence. Darn, if it weren't for these er, generous lips maybe I wouldn't feel conscious about wearing lipstick. Oh, well I'll get over it. I feel like a dork, but that's ok I'm embracing my dorkiness:).
