So, I finally decided to sign up for the St. Croix Half Ironman on May 3, 2009. Today I woke up with an "I'm going for it" attitude. I decided now is as good a time as any to start doing the things I love. I've been wanting to do this race for several years and after meeting some triathletes from the tri group in CT who signed up for the race I figured game on. Focusing on a good base is my current goal and I will figure out when my official training for the actual race will begin. It will probably be right around the corner since I want to make sure I have at least 6 good solid months of training. So exciting! I am thrilled to be taking on a variety of new adventures.
